I would throw this in screen grabs, but its not really worthy it. I kinda want to show the film guys interested in shorts done with low model film cameras and film stock. This short was done on a bolex mos. the film stock is kodak 16mm reversal, I don't remmber if it was tri-x or plus-x. Also I had telecined it myself on a really crappy system, so that didnt help with quality. its called cloud of ignoranmce, I made it a while ago.

Warning: Im new to the whole file sharing over the internet, so I found a site that holds files for free, so I hope it all works out, and im preety sure I didnt put on that great of a codec, so if it looks really crappy, let me know

I really want to see this but having to register at the site is not flying for me.

Damn people; it's only like $10.00 a month for a site. Come on already.

I am at work, so I can't view the video, but I'll try when I get home.

thanks, i cleared all my internet cookies, and cache and tried it again and it worked, there was no registration requirement. There is an extremely annoying download process that consists of following a DL trail of about 4 links in order to do it.

Got it! It kept prompting me to Register and the Pop-up Blocker kept jumping in...

Forgive my cloud of ignorance.

Why you make me all sad with that? Well done. It appears you achieved your goal with this? Tradegy.

Technically - nicely shot and nicely lit with a good choice of score.

BUt sad.

It was about my friend, It was filmed about 2 months after the incident. I wish I could have done something a little more professional for him. I look back and my biggest irritations of it are that i used reversal stock, the shots of the girl in the room have crappy lighting, and i relied soley on fades for editing.......even though i kinda wanted that fade affect, it still seems really amateurish

thanks for the input, sorry for the annoying DL process

What light meter do you recommend for use with this camera? Preferably an easy to find one.....

For the money, gotta love the Sekonic's Studio Deluxe... It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of more expensive meters, but gets the job done. Good for students.
