View Full Version : Missing sound between video clips in Premiere Elements 10

I currently use Premiere Elements 10 to edit my films from my GH2.

One thing I have noticed is that when you add another clip in the timeframe the first 3 or 4 frames do not have any sound just picture. Currently I am going through these silent frames (frame by frame) and cutting them out. The next clip them automatically moves and joins the previous clip. This them gives me continous sound. But I would like to know if I could import these clips without losing the sound at all. When I import the MTS clips I use the PE "Get videos from files & folders" option. I have already copied the complete folder and files from the cameras card onto the hard drive intact and unchanged. And using PE direct it to the stream folder and the file(s) I need. Once the file opens as an icon in PE I either drag it to the preview window which adds it to the timeline or drag it directly to the timeline. Is there something I am doing or not doing that is causing the sound to go missing?
