Some of you watched my shrot, 10 Till, a while back. It was in a really bad windows media format. I now fixed a lot of audio problems, did some color correction and encoded it into divx. You can download it at
www.doubleitproductions.com/10till.avi
Please right click and save as. Let me know what you think

I want to see it, but 54mb is too rich for me. I'm out! Any chance you can make an 8-12mb version?

Windows Media Player would not play it, gave me an error downloading codec message.
I then tried playing it in my DIVX Player and got picture but no sound.
How did you encode this?

All you need to view it is divx codec and media player. I watched it fine. Too many shaky camera movements for me.

I dont know how else to encode a 12 minute movie and have it be watchable but also a resonable file size. I figure most people have high speed net by now. The quicktime copy is 100 megs. As CombatVideo said, you should be able to download divx at www.divx.com, install it and restart your comp.

quictime copy i'm sure could be a lot smaller then 100 megs. just compress it better or something. 54 megs is freaken huge. I shot a five minute short and got it down to like 10 megs, and the quality was still ok. you may lose some quality- but at least more people can watch it.

I watched the first cut of this -- I didn't notice anything different. I really like the music.

Really? The quality is a TON better, the sound levels are a bit better, some scenes have better color correction, and the gun makes a flash now :)

Haha, yeah, those were the best we could do. We made most of them and downloaded some and edited them. Just couldnt get them perfect.
I encoded it with VirtualDub, 2 passes with the divx codec then 128k mp3 encoded audio.

I thought it was lite well with good direction of all the people on set. But the story and acting didn't do it for me , Sorry.

I would suggest getting Sorenson Squeeze. You might ba able to find a demo or version 3 floating around. It will compress to any format you want. It's great!
