Interesting Mitch.
How would you compare them to Zeiss CP.2s??
I love CP.2s range now..15mm and 135mm

One must note that the Canon primes are currently only available in Canon mount while the Zeis CP.2 lenses are interchangeable mount. The Canon Cine Primes are about the same size of the Zeiss with just a little more weight. They have a Canon look to them, which translated to a slightly warmer cast and rounder Bokeh compared to the CP.2 lenses. They are very high-resolving, flare-resistant and have excellent contrast.

I would consider the use of the Canon lenses v. the Zeiss CP.2 series to be a matter of taste.

Are you talking about the old compact primes or the new, super speed compact primes?

As far as the Canon prime set goes, I feel like there needs to be a 35mm before I consider going them.
