The stills look good. Man, that girl has some lips.
Cool location for "John finds out the truth."
What's going on in the right top and bottom corners of the "underwater" grab? Is she dunking her head in a pan or is the camera really underwater?

Excellent work, the teaser looked really good. Is it all handheld?

thanks for the positive comments. in reply to the queries : the camera is underwater in the underwater grab, thats why you can see the bubbles and the reflection is catching the camera lens on the right corner {it will be solved by resizing :D }
we have locked down the cut for now and now are going into online - specialFX, colourgrade, graphics, music, audio post production, so i would say another 2 months.
during pre-production we were lucky and managed to get some really cool locations and NZ is fantastic for that. I think we ended up shooting in around 15-17 locations, which is insane for a 'no-budget' independent production.
We shot the whole movie on a glidecam {'a poor man's steadiicam'}, which gave us the flexbility to shoot some fantastic shots without the massive setup times and used location lighting, natural lighting for 80% of the film.
cheers for taking time out to see the grabs.

Those are all REALLY nice. The actors have a great look to them. Very intense. Alot of emotions. You have nice composition too.
Good luck with the post-production.

The last shot reminds me of that Laura Palmer scene in the original Twin Peaks

This looks nice. The opening shot in the rain (trailer 2) rocks
The actress is stunning - I've seen her on TV.
Keep us posted and thanks for sharing.

teaser trailer -1 was edited after 5 days of shooting while trailer - 2 was edited after 10 days of shooting, so i would say shot selection has definitely got a lot to do with the different feel of the trailers. the movie looks more like teaser -2 ..... the total movie shoot was only 20 days, including pickup days but it was spread over weekends across 5 months - the only way we could get the shoot done. :D

lol...nope it is an illusion... she is wearing a pink top...and since we colour balanced it hot, it looks as if she is wearing nothing. we are in the business of illusion..isn't it?

the trailer 2 is very well done, if the whole movie is like trailer 2 then I'd love to see it.
edit: did you shoot PAL or NTSC?
atrips

shot PAL - 25p on DVX100a
Surprising thing -got no support from Panasonic NZ whatsoever eventhough this is the first indie feature in NZ shot on the DVX100a...not complaining because we still went out and did it and did complete the shoot.

Hi Amit,
I have to say that these grabs are great! I haven't seen the trailer yet but even in the stills, it's apparent that your cast can act! They are in the moment. I've seen so many grabs, where the "talent" is merely posing. I'm going to visit your site.
Thanks for sharing,
Rane
