View Full Version : Question about srgb/adobe rgb

One thing that I've never got a clear answer to... even though my workflow is AdobeRGB, should I deliver to the client as sRGB?? As for video aswell as stills...

Simply speaking, I've never got the part whether or not Adobe is *strictly* workflow or should be used upon delivery aswell... I'm note some high-end hollywood DP, this is low-end work.

sRGB is the "standard" (or the closest thing to it) color space for Web video, and it's almost the same than REC 709 (the colorspace for HDTV). So yes, I'd edit, grade and deliver in it for video. Don''t know much about stills or Adobe RGB, though (I seem to vaguely remember reading that Adobe RGB was mostly for still photographs).
