Just ran across this site the other day and I can't get enough of it. Seems like their are some fantastic people hangin' around these parts! Can't wait to see and hear more about your projects and thoughts.

Here is my latest project shot on the DVX and an old 8mm camera. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

I liked it. I thought the song was kinda wierd at first, but warmed up to it more at the end. I liked the old style footage, and some of the locations you had for him.

Nice. Great pacing, incredible locations and the song is good too. Definitely builds that John Mellencamp or Bruce Springsteen kind of Americana feeling throughout (in a cool Jack and Diane kind of way), and I like that the visuals don't pander to match the powerful lyrics.

I have zero critique of this video - I'd love to see more of your work!

Cheers,

e

Loved your work. Where did you get the super 8mm converted to DV for editing? Do you know what process they used?

The artist (Lark) actually had the 8mm camera and wanted to add that look to the project. He sent the footage off to a company out of Atlanta to get it transferred to miniDV. They processed the film at 20fps, but can't tell you much more than that???

Funny story...I was really diggin' the vintage 8mm camera he had and when we finished the shoot, he ended up giving it to me!

Great job. You faithfully captured the "feel" of the song and interpreted it with great visuals and pace.

Really nice job of editing/mixing shots and sources. Enjoyed the camera work. This is all so campish (Mellencampish that is).

More like this please!

Excellent work. Nice camera movement, editing, visual texture, nice everything.

I checked out your website. This latest video shows some great improvement over the others. It's always good to watch someone's work progress. I'll look forward to seeing future work.
