These were shot with a sony ex1r. All of them are screengrabs. Settings: preset WB 5600k, Cine1 gamma, every other setting is either off or at 0. Some grading in post. I used a cheap magnification filter (+10) for some of the macro shots (flowers and ants are examples).

those look very nice. you have the settings for those pps? do you find the profiles work in all situations (various lighting etc. ) or only some?

Those were shot with BBC's film/video profiles. I was using BBC's film profile most of the time for every condition, but nowadays i use this pp instead: preset WB 5600k, Cine1 gamma, every other setting is either off or at 0 :)

Thanks. Surely you cant always shoot with that wb unless youre in control of the lighting all the time?

Lovely stuff. I'm getting back into my ex1 - so love Nd xlr etc.

Certainly a fan of cine1 which I use on both my ex1 and f3

It's basically a fix number for that preset switch on the side of the camera you know. I often shoot in 5600k so i set it like that. I do manual white balance depending on the conditions from time to time too of course :)

I get you. Makes sense if you shoot outdoors or with daylight balanced kinos/LEDs when inside.
