After much trepidation over whether or not to buy the DVX, I'm glad I took the plunge! Now if I can just figure out Final Cut 4, I might be able to post some footage!

Well I'd definatly have to say that I love the natural lighting of the second one. But the first one is a little creepy. Plus what is that floating black spot next to her face? What's your short about? If your second grab is any indication of what this film will look like I'd say you have a pretty good start.

I agree w/ Scharky. Had it not been for her eyes being open, I would've thought she was a corpse on a table w/ a fly buzzing in nearby. Like the second one though.

The spot is actually on the cabinet behind her. I over exposed this shot because she's a ghost. In the short, she's remembering her life as an abused woman. I'm glad it creeped you out!
