I'm working on a shadow / silhouette related project and am trying to figure out ways to do it, researching similar videos etc. I found this one and it got me wondering about process.

honestly the whole video has a very nice DIY aesthetic throughout, even though I think there are lots of fx in there. my thoughts were the shadow scene around 2:00 - I think all the shadow elements were done in green screen and then arranged together individually, and overlayed on the wall shot. my next thought is the the shadow painting from around 3:00 on were fx, motion track the hand, then add a stroke effect on that path.

The lack of FX credits on the vimeo page makes me wonder though...

what do you guys think?

I think you are dead on. Those are fairly easy effect I think. No need for a visual effect expert on this.
