Just got back from "Teachers Appreciation Day" at my college. Thai schools have a different holiday each week, so there's not a lot of learning going on. Just preparations for the next celebration. :) The students spent all day yesterday (no students went to class) making these highly complicated flower and banana leaf things. If they put that much effort into homework Thailand would control the world.

Standing room only.

Kneel before the under-paid teachers of the world!

The "boy" on the left is my student. Most ceremonies have kah-toi (cross-dresser) performers. NO! I was not performing.

Last week the students wrote, directed, and shot 3 scenes for a movie. I'll edit and upload later. It's hilarious!

Just a boring slideshow. You can go back to surfing more interesting threads now.

You're doing great work there, PK. Don't think we're not interested.

Keep the updates coming.

How long are you staying there or is this a full time gig? I would love to just take off and go somewhere that is completely different than the life I am used to. My older bro used to be into buddhism and he was gonna go to Thailand I think to go to a monestary but there was no room.

Edalgo - Not sure when I'll head back. I do miss home sometimes.

Hey, my show starts in 10 minutes, if you all want to tune in online, I'll give a shoutout to DVXuser. I'm late!!! Ride like the wind, little moped! Ride like the wind!!!

Nice work you are doing over there. The kah-toi freaked me out there for a second :)

fixitinpost - Thanks! I was nervous because I felt DVXuser ears listening. I want to crack jokes and use funny voices, but the audience doesn't understand English so it's like performing to a brick wall. They understand you more if you speak slow, use small words, and don't crack jokes. Talk about a boring show.... :(

Blue - HA! HA! HA!! LOL

Blue - Ha! I knew this was a possibility and, like an idiot, I posted it anyway. But you still make a hotter woman than me.

PK-you are our DVXuser Goodwill Ambassador to Thailand. I cant wait to see a clip of your students' work. May be hilarious, but also, you never know if maybe you planted the filmmaking bug in someone over there. Good for you! :)

I think you picked the wrong picture, BLUESPIDER. I think you meant this one:
