I'm not using time codes at all while editing... gasp! I know, I know...
What I've done is dump all the footage into the system, then I'm able to slice and dice much quicker because of the ease of the computer's speed. (I know have 1.8 TB approx 80 hours of footage at my fingertips)
Question:
Does my final output have it's own time code? I've heard the term "Show Code".... does PPRO create a new time code for the finished product? and if so, that new time code is usefull to who? The lab that will do the color timing?
I was going to burn the entire movie back over to DV tape and then take the tape to the lab.... am I on the right track for best resolution? (shot in 24PA )
Thanks,
Darryl
