Dvd menu problem

I am creating a Dvd with Dvd studio pro and I can't seem to get the text crisp in the menu. I have the screen grab below. I am creating the menu in Dvd studio pro with the text in a 720x480 72dpi PS file, I also tried 300dpi and no luck, also with a video background and buttons created in Dvd Studio Pro. Is there a certain PS or Illustrator preset I should go by? or even do it in After effects? I have a lot of people counting on me to get this out soon, if anyone can help we would really appreciate it.

Have you burned a disc and looked at the actual dvd? Sometimes it looks like that in preview but it is fine on the actual dvd. If so the best option is to just do it in DVD Studio Pro.

Are you using text from DVDSP's buttons, or do you have a PS file with the text already embedded in it?
