View Full Version : Where to find old film look/flares?

I have a new computer since the last one crashed and is unusable. On that computer I had something like five effects that I've downloaded from some really nice soul that wanted to share them (free and legally). The effects are yellow / green /purple and you simply apply them on top of your video and choose the opacity, really simple and nice effect! I found the link on Vimeo in a video description, and the clips are in .mov format. I have searched now over two days and can't find the link nor the homepage where I first found those clips...

So please, does anyone know what effects I'm talking about and where I can find them?

Any help is appreciated!

Well, there's always the Gorilla Grain (http://gorillagrain.com/features).
If you want to support the indie, there's Rody Polis Lens FX package (http://www.rodypolis.com/lens-fx-film-burn.html), which contain a lot more for a very affordable. Be sure to check on his website, he's selling some great stuff, at a lot cheaper price than many others. I have the Lens FX and the Shootout pack (http://www.rodypolis.com/shootout-stock-pack.html), both worth the price easily.
