Hi all,

OK, say I have a bit of footage to which I have applied several carefully calculated and keyframed effects. Later on, I want to replace that footage with another, to which the exact same effects will need to be applied.

Must I painfully jot down all the info about the effects applied previously, then (equally painfully) re-apply them to the new footage, or is there an easier way to "copy and paste" a series of effects from one clip to the other, assuming, of course, that they're the same length ?

Tks a lot in advance for any time-saving suggestions you may have.

you can copy and paste effects. just select it or them all at once in the effect window and hit ctrl +c or edit copy, and then paste them on mutiple clips by selecting the clips and pasting or into one clip by pasting.. either in the effects window or on the clip with the clip selected. if your using PPRO you can save presets or custom effects so you could just save it as a preset or a custom effect and apply it later.
