Problem solved for that 3 frames good, one bad situation...
If you've downloaded you great looking DVX footage, only to find it looks like crap after the computer gets it...
next time you capture, Open the Capture window...go to Settings Tab...look down to Device Control / in the drop down window it says:
DV Device Control / click on options...
then, simply make sure the drop down window for Timecode Format reads Non Drop-Frame.
You'll love what you see.... your great DVX footage has returned.
The computer will take your 24p/30fps and treat it like 24 frames, without the "drop setting" activated....
Anyways, I could be wrong with my theory... but, the results do rock.
