I know it took some time, but hopefully it is worth the wait.

Reach the read and rate page by clicking the link above. It's pretty straight forward, but if you have questions please leave them here. Oh, and DON'T vote on your own script.

Reading and Rating Ends Midnight EST on June 27

Yay it's finally up.

Can't wait to read all the entries.

EDIT: My script doesn't have a "discuss" link.

My script doesn't have a "discuss" link.

Don't worry, your thread is there and we can find it. Left you some comments.

Yay! DVXscriptfest! Its been awhile, looking forward to reading some good scripts. I have an idea for a script, if I rough out a draft, I'd love to get some feedback on it.
Would it be possible to get it in as an exhibition script?

I'm going to find the time, one way or another, to read and comment this fest.

Sorry, maybe next time. But there is nothing stoping you from posting your desire for some reviews in a new thread.

We'd certainly all benefit from this.

No problem. I'll definitely start a thread, I always got great feedback in the fests...now I just have to finish the script.

Get your reviews and votes in! The deadline is approaching.

And whatever you do please don't try and game the system, we can see the votes and it becomes obvious. And besides there's nothing to win anyway.

Some great reads! Really enjoyed the stories and I am NOT a sci-fi head. I still need to add one review for the exhibition entry, wrap up a few others.

By the way, I do have a free eBook titled 'How to Speak Script' on my site. I keep going back and forth on whether to publish it or not. Currently it's a no. I'd rather keep it a free resourse on my page. I'm rebuilding the site so lots of it is missing, but I do have two finished chapters up - 'Writing Visually', and 'Elements' (there are 24 chapters in total). I'll put up 'The Beautiful Page' and 'Brevity and Clarity: the kissing cousins of screenwriting', in a few days. 'Dialogue' will come along a short bit later.

This book actually grew out of giving reviews here. Some years back, like 4 maybe. Been working on it ever since.

If you write or want to write screenplays.........GO DIRECTLY TO ALEX'S SITE AND READ IT ALL! :)

Seriously, I've read most of it in the past and I refer back to it and I am currently reading anything I haven't read already.
I've read a lot of screenwriting books, but Alex offers advice and insight on a lot of things that I've never read in other books.

Do yourself a favor...read it and take notes.

A big thank you to you, Alex, for making it readily available.
