good day

I curently have a gh2. I have been noticing the quality is good, but when posted to youtube I lose quality. How do other gh2 users keep the quality?

I am on a mac using fcp. I usally export to quicktime and use mpeg streamclip to export to h.246.

does anyone have any settings I can use?

That link is a good minimum/maximum guideline. 720p at 30mbs is probably a bit overkill, but depending on how much movement is in the shot, you'd defenitly want around 10+. Also you need higher bitrate if you upload a vid with more green in it vs other colors. I used to upload gameplay commentary vids and games on green maps, ie jungle or forest maps, looked worse unless I added more bitrate to the encoder vs urban maps.

50-80mb per minute is how I used to upload at 720p and for a 10 minute video I usually didn't go above 700mb total. I have the fastest connection I can get in my area 20mb down and 1 mb up and it would take about a half hour to upload a 700mb vid. That's also a factor, how much time do you have and how fast is your connection.
