View Full Version : Problem seeing muzzle flashes on timeline

I'm trying to use the muzzle flashes from detonationfilms.com, but when I drag the clip to my timeline, the flash becomes invisible. The comp. is set up with the default settings. Anyone know why this may be happening?

u may need to ZOOM in on your timeline. If they are only 1 frame each... they'd be hard to see unless zoomed almost all the way in.

invisible in the viewer or just the clip icon in the timeline?

invisible in the viewer when i play from the timeline. If i click on the clip in the window where it shows up when i import it, it plays in the viewer fine.

your layers are off. make sure the muzzle flashes are on top of the video clip

I thought that might be the problem, but I tried putting just the flashes in the timeline and had no luck.

Uhm... what program are you working with and what file type do the muzzle flashes come in? I'd assume psd

after effects and I believe the clips are .avi (full DV resolution) (from detonationfilms.com)
