Hello all,

I am about to direct my 1st spec spot! It will be along the lines of the Las Vegas Visitor's Bureau "what happens here, stays here". Can I get some advice on things to look out for while directing? Any advice will help.

Thanks.

Coverage and inserts. It's the easiest thing to look over. Try and get as many options for your editor as possible. Also pay very close attention to details. The easiest way to spot a spec commercial is the little things, don't just let them go, make sure every little hair is in place.
If you want tto see some awsome spec work go to:

P.S. Mine are in the 04 catagory (Mercedes, ACLU and Wilson Golf)

Aaron, I just realized we already talked about this. And you've seen this stuff. Good luck though.
