Hi all,
I made a rookie mistake on a recent concert shoot for a local college band. I had my GH2 recording at 24p, but forgot to have my friend set her 5D mark II to 24p. The GH2 ran the whole time, and has the master audio track. The 5D mark II was used for closeups, and will be added to the GH2 footage to make it more dynamic. Now I'm trying to sync up the footage from these two cameras, and am, for obvious reasons, running into trouble. Without attempting to change the frame rate before running PluralEyes, it seems that roughly the first 1/2 of every song, the footage from the 5D correctly syncs, but after that it's all just added at the end of the GH2 track.
Then I tried conforming the 5D footage to 24p in Magic Bullet Grinder, and speeding it back up by 125% (23.976 x 125% = 29.97) in Premiere, but doing so only changes the speed of the video -- it doesn't affect the audio!
Any super clever ideas of how to get this all working, short of manually syncing up each clip that didn't sync automatically?
Thanks,
Sangye
