I've always had this problem when working with 16x9 (ratio 1.2) video.
In Premiere when I export from a widescreen project to AVI the movie plays back at 720x480 in WMP. But when I export from Encore it knows that its a 16x9 timeline and it plays back correctly on DVD.
I've going between 720x780 (1.2) timelines in Premiere and After Effects but playing the .avi's in WMP is a no go. I've been exporting quicktimes at 720x405 (1.0) instead.
Is there a way to edit AVI widescreen so that it plays back correctly? My end format is always DVD so I've been sticking to 720x480 (1.2) because Encore interprets it correctly.
thanks.
