Hello all.
Great resource here, thought it was high time I joined the forums.
Currently shooting my films on Canon DSLR, pondering whether to shoot my 1st cheapie feature on hacked GH2 or Black Magic. Interested in learning more about lenses (particularly vintage ones), grading tips, and just checking out what other people are doing :)

yeah I want to switch to gh2 or black magic in the future too. But Canon DSLR is good enough for me now and I think I'll start investing in some lighting. I heard Nikkor lenses are very good, did you do research on those yet?

Hi Victor,
I've been mostly renting Canon L lenses and scouring junk shops. There are several good online lens rental companies here so it's a good way to try things out. I've heard Nikkor are good too, along with Tamron (someone recommended 17-50mm) and Tokina. Ebay is great for grabbing random lenses to try out.
