No Black Bars

Am I crazy?

I swear I used to be able (in v5) to render videos minus the letterboxing bars by setting the output size to the actual image size and setting it to NOT letterbox.

In v6, I'm having a devil of a time doing it.

Did I forget a step? Or have things changed?

EDIT: Never mind. If I set the project properties to the final image size, the bars go away.

I just don't recall doing that before.

Hey Dan, or anyone else, have you been experiencing many bugs with Vegas 6? Also is it possible to open Vegas 5 projects in Vegas 6? I am wondering if i should make a transition while in the process of editing...

I haven't found any bugs (other than the ones in my head) with the latest version, but I don't do anything really fancy/complicated. I never even saw the acknowledged FX bug in the first release of 6.

I've been opening v5 projects in v6 with no problem...but like I said abaove, they're not much more than straight video-in/video-out projects.
