My Video FX (Vegas 5) are not working!

Hi, there. My Video FX are not working on Vegas 5. The Transitions and Media Generators work fine, but not the Video FX (none of them.) The plug-ins are checked (not by-passed) and the "before Pan/Crop" is selected, but the FX still don't show on the preview monitor. I tried applying the FX through the track, on the event, and by dragging the FX icon to the event and the preview window. None of it works. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance. Ruby

No, but I'm trying to avoid having to do that before trying other options. Any other ideas what could be causing it? Everything else works fine. Something must be keeping the Video FX from being displayed on my Preview screen. Are there any other settings that might cause this?

In the preview window there is a button (a square with a circle inside) where you can bypass video effects for the entire screen (or for the left or right hand side, depending on your selection). Make sure you have not inadvertantly set this button to bypass all of your FX.

Also, if you have added video FX to the entire project (using the FX icon in the preview window), you can bypass all video FX in the project by right-clicking the icon and selecting "bypass FX". So make sure you have not done this as well.
