I'll announce the winners this evening, but in the mean time lets talk about the next theme. Any suggestions?

Kitchen Fest - Your entire short takes place inside a kitchen. Any kitchen, restaurant, home, farm, cafeteria kitchen, army mess tent...

Soccer Fest - Your short takes place on a soccer field. Any genre.

Some sort of sports fest?

Lights-off Fest - Your short takes place at night and no electrical or battery powered sources of light can be shown.

Just some ideas, is all! :)

Instead of specifying a character, prop, scene, or dialogue, how
about something more realistic for a short film - Indie budget.
Must take place within 50 miles of writers home using minimal
props, costumes, actors, special effects, but may not be wholly drama.
Voters to determine if script is a produciable realistic indie short.

Oktoberfest ! = The short must take place in a bar or feature a character drinking a beer.

Trailerfest! = Create a movie trailer starring your favorite actor. The trailer must be for a fictitious film, any genre, but must star a Hollywood A-lister.

I'm surprised no one is requesting 'WarFest'.

I'd love to do "WarFest" and have it picked up by the filmmakers looking for scripts. But am guessing most would like to start production by the time we'll finish the contest, won't they?

Funny Rustom! Where's the like button here?!

"Oktoberfest ! = The short must take place in a bar or feature a character drinking a beer." - this sounds fun! I can do that. Plus, not hard to shoot, I think.

Just lay it on me man. That's the fun.
They don't ask the Iron Chef what she wants to cook. They say...

"Here's 1,000 lbs of squid. Make it delicious."

My only suggestion is to never take suggestions... well, I just screwed that up didn't I...
