Interest In Sf Bay Area User Group?

Greetings fellow DVX nuts,

I am a technician at a local non profit video instruction firm, and I've been given clearance to use the facilities as a meeting place for a DVX user group.

I'm interested in knowing how many people there would be in the SF Bay Area who would be down with getting together once a month for a DVX shin dig ho-down square dancin' lollapalooza?

Please pipe in and let me know if yer game.

Seriously though, there has been talk off and on about a No. Cal. DVX user meeting but so far it has been just that...talk. I'd be interested in attending something like this.

Haven't had any meetings at the place yet - but we have the facilities and ample room to provide as well.

I figure if we can get between 5 and 10 people interested in coming consistently, I'd be happy to host and oversee the goings of the group.

I currently host a 3D users group at the same facility and we've been running almost a year and a half now.

Get me a bunch more people to contribute to this thread and then I'll get the ball rolling as for reserving a room/projector to display footage/samples/etc

I'll start the volley -

We have rooms and facilities available for monday or tuesday or wednesday evening (or even thursday or friday evening).

Saturday/Sunday are pretty much out of the question as the facility is being used to teach video production related classes.

We have access to computers and projectors to display work shot.

OR what we could do is maybe use the facilities on Sunday or saturday evenings. Probably better for Sunday evenings.

I'll ask my supvervisor if thats okay - the facilities closes on the weekends at 6pm.
