Hey guys,
I'm shooting 1 actor as twins, and want to use dolly shots, but I'd need to have the dolly moving at exactly the same rate so I can shoot him on 2 sides of the frame and composite them together.

I saw a clip on the net, can't remember where, where a guy used his electic train set that ran at a constant speed to do this trick and it worked well.

I've got the dolly, just need to 'motorize' it!

Anyone got any ideas or links?

THANKS

Of all the DIY dollies I have seen, I like this motorized slider project because the creator took the time to post a parts list: http://vimeo.com/37712545

Folks may throw eggs at me but i gotta say:

You'd be really surprised by what you can build with LEGO parts. Especially from their Robotics line.
