lens adapter question

ok I'm trying to buy a tokina 11mm-16mm lens but its for a nikon, i own a fotodiox pro adapter which lets me connect old nikkor nikon lenses to my canon i just want to make sure if it will work for my t3i before i buy it i don't care about AF i just want it to work. i know theres always small quality lost when using adapters but if theres something bigger that you guys know of let me know plz

You will loose aperture control if that lens doesn't have an aperture ring (which I dont think it does). So you won't be able to control the aperture and it will be stuck at f/22.
