I need a favor...

Sorry if this is not the proper place to post this but given the area of expertise in which I will be majoring in (3D animation and visual effects) I thought it would be appropriate to post here.

I am currently enrolling at Academy of Art University and am applying for a scholarship that will help get me that much closer to a degree (BFA). In order for me to apply I was asked to write under 300 words discussing what is the most important lesson I have learned up to this point. The catch is, after submitting the essay before it can even be considered as a actual entry (for the judges to review) I need over 350 votes.

The reason I came here is because I spend a tremendous amount of my time trying to share and help others with their questions regarding post production with as detailed and thorough replies as I can possibly offer. You can check my most recent posts to see where I've contributed.

Trust me, I feel pathetic asking for a hand but hey that's what forums are for right? It seems like the more you know the more you realize you need to know more haha... so I ask, if you like my short please vote.

I know that sometimes threads like these are shut down if it seems you're trying to get votes to win an online competition kind of thing, but that's not what this seems like. Also, it'll help you've been a member here for a couple of months and you aren't joining today to say, "Hey guys, vote me up!!!!" AND you seem to have some talent here as well.
