imovie anyone?

Does anyone know if it's even possible to edit 24p footage from the dvx with imovie? will I even be able to pan the sound channels from one side to be in stereo? Will it understand the 24p timline? Any suggestions/ideas how to make a trailer with imovie before I step up to the big-boy nle's?

no 24pA timelines. you can still edit 24p from the dvx it just won't be in a 24pA timeline.
software is limited of course but yes I think you can at least pan channels left or right.
