Anyone know if the Education Version of Vegas 6 + DVDA is the same as the Retail Version?

I don't want to flood the board with different topics so does anyone know if you can use the in program monitor at the bottom right of the screen AND an external monitor at the same time? What I mean is can you see your video on BOTH at the same time.
