So like the subject of the topic said, I am looking to buy a used Total training for After Effects. This program is so hard to learn on your own !!! I can't really afford the new TT pakage. So if anyone is looking to sell you can reach me here : luc_laflamme@videotron.ca

Thanks ,

One word: Ebay.... that where I got mine. Maybe you want to look at EARLIER versions of the software. At the time, I couldn't afford the 6.5 TT, so I got the complete 5.5 for dirt cheap. Basically it's the same thing without the newest features and effects...which you can learn on your own, once you get down the basics. The functionality and interface of 5.5 is identical to 6.5.

I tried the books... couldn't do it either. I HIGHLY recommend the videos for someone starting out. Now when I pick up the Trish Meyer books, I make sense from it...

Warning: I have no need for sleep aids. I pop in a TT DVD and watch... 20 minutes later I fall asleep. TT can be very boring, but you will learn.

I agree, I got my Total Training on Ebay for 250 bucks. Its for AE6. Its very boring, bad jokies etc but very very useful and informative. Also I recommend AE6 Hands on Training by Lynda Weinman (www.lynda.com) I am just about done with it and i have learned alot. Cheers, D
