So, I've never had problems with aspect ratio before... on my PC I'd capture with PPro with default PAL presets (just changing interlaced to progressive), 720x576, 1.067 pixel aspect ratio. Then it would fit AE composition with same settings perfectly.
However, now on my Mac I noticed that all the newly captured footage is off, whenever I import it into AE. It doesn't fit any presets. Newly captured as in captured on Mac using FCP or Premiere 6.5. I'm using same PAL DV capture settings as before, on PC (720x576, 1.07 or 1.067 ratio, 4:3), but AE won't recognize the aspect ratio right. It sees all the new footage as 1.09 and there is no such setting to make it fit comps. :undecided
I'll keep trying to figure out what's wrong, but maybe someone has any ideas on what it could be? Is this a Mac/AE thing or something else?
