Every time I start up Vegas (either 5.0 or 6.0) I get the following warning in four sequential modal windows "The Creative ASIO devices have changed. You may need to restart this program before using Creative ASIO devices." It seems to be referring to the Creative Audigy Audio card/and or drivers- but nothing has changed with them or any element of them that I can detect. It does not seem to affect Vegas or its sound output at all so its certainly not a critical issue- just a annoying curiosity at thsi time. Does anyone know what this warning means and what I might be able to do to avoid the warning coming up?

If you're going to be using surround with the Creative ASIO, your project audio sampling rate should be 48K. Could be an issue.

Thanks! That's good to know. I was wondering about that. I did try setting the project I'm working on to 48K and then saved it (it was 44100 prior)- but it had no effect- the ASIO warning came up as always when I restarted Vegas again.
