Raid? Decklink?

Hello,

Does anyone please have advice, or have a chart of buildable raids and resulting speeds? / usage?

For example, this decklink with Vegas 6 is all very hazy. What exact throughput is needed for SDI, what for HD?

I know this info is pretty standard for fcp for example, but where are the real world examples, setups, products for vegas users?

Also, how will vEgas RUN with these setups? Is it jerky like mt2? or do you have to do proxies, also? Or is it smooth sailing?
