Blackmagic mini converter, black and white??

Hi,

I am using a Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio switcher to broadcast on the Slingbox Pro-HD. So I have purchased a Blackmagic SDI to Analog mini converter, so the Slingbox device can read the images+audio. I am using a composite video cable and connecting it from the output of the mini converter and send it to the composite input of the Slingbox. But my issue is that I only see black and white images. Can anyone help?

Almost sounds like you have component outputs on the converter but you are trying to only use a composit cable.

I did try to use a component cable and connected it to the Blackmagic converter output and to the component inputs of the Slingbox device. but no video was showing.

Take the sling box out of the equation for testing. Use a monitor to check your outputs.

If you connect only the composite from the "Y" of a component connection, you get a B&W signal. Make sure that you have the mini converter set up to output a true composite signal. Assuming it can be set up to do that.
