vector scope

i never been to film school so i have never taken lessons professional lessons in this field. everything i`ve learned has been thru you guys in this forum so i thank you for that. i sent for my ac 160- 130 book on jan. 6 and recieved it on jan 13 (quick turn around) i only had a chance to glance at it so far cause i reached the 2 year passing of my wife on saturday jan 14 so i`ve been spending a lot of time with my kids since. well my question is how do i use the vector scope? is it better to use in camera or in post? and how do i use it either way?

Sorry to hear of your loss. It is a wound that heals a little more each year. I just passed the 5th year of Phil's passing, it was easier, but I missed him just the same, if that makes sense.
