Thailand Anti-Corruption Office - Corrupt

A few years ago Thailand started the National Counter Corruption Commission (NCCC) to help fight corruption and improve their global image. ...Or atleast give the "illusion" that they were trying.

Today 9 of the NCCC commissioners were found guilty of being corrupt. (Insert irony here.)

Strangely enough its not big news here. Maybe because the Prime Minister is the richest man in Thailand and owns one of the largest tv networks and newspapers. Bad news about the government rarely gets coverage.

Imagine if George Bush owned CNN and the Washington Post. Is that even allowed in the US?

I know we have a lot to work on here in the States. We have our share of corruption and we always will. But damn, that's just nuts. Sometimes you just gotta be grateful for what you have, even if it ain't perfect.

Sorry and I guess I'm not going to make many friends by saying this but you can't get anymore corrupt a government as the USA. Bush has pretty much every broadcaster/media source in his back pocket.

At least the folks in Thailand haven't killed 10,000's of 1,000's of people over the corruption.

Don't get me started on the good old US of A especially George W Bush.

Starting an illegal war on Iraq. Invading and fighting in Afghanistan. Your President is probably the most evil and corrupt person in living History. In fact I'm sure he's shared the same Gene Pool as Hitler.
