Hey everyone,

I was just reading Sebastian Wiegärtner's blog-post (http://wiegaertnerfilms.com/tutorials/canon-c300-c-log-and-sony-f3-s-log-comparison/), and I noticed that in the comment section he wrote the following in regards to shooting 1080 60P on the Sony F3:

"it can shoot 1080p 60fps via dual sdi! but you need an external recorder like a gemini."

Would this be theoretically possible with with Canon C300?

What do you guys think?

Actually, I think the C300 only has a single HD-SDI port?

It is not possible on the Canon C300.

The C300 can shoot 1080i so you can extract 1080p by a deinterlacing process in post. Would be interesting to compare the results to native 720 60p.

You'll lose quite a bit of resolution but on a camera that's as sharp as the C300 seems to be...few will notice IMO. That's what I always planned to do anyways if I had a C300...of course that's if the 720p scaled up doesn't compare well.

..and on F3 you can't have s-log @ 50p/60p
