long time ago, there was a thread with our AE work showcase..so since I missed the train I'm pitching in now. This is my mini compilation of work what I've done in past 5 months where all projects had 2-3 days turn around. I hope you enjoy it. ;)

books, web and doing actual projects, but I started with macromedia flash which helped me tremendously in compositing the effects and tricks. Now I use them interchangeably great two pieces of software. ;)

One of the masters himself, Eric Chauvin came out to visit us last year and did a mini presentation and workshop of his work. All he uses is photoshop, after effects and two old 3D packages from the 90's, form-z and electric image.
He has a bunch of his work on his website.

Great inspiring AE work! I really like the music you chose! What did you use? I keep watching it and watching it and whistling the trupet part in that tune. Anyways awesome stuff, and hopefully you can share more at a later time!

thanks guys for the kind words :)
John the trumpet is from our sound library. pretty catchy tune hehe. that's 50% of what clients think about it..hehe sad but true.
song: Mango Jam 1
cd: Mhe 89 Jazz Beat Sandwich'
Production: Music House International
btw they have some great broadcast music not too expensive either ;)
kai,
I've been checking your site lately but still down :( I hear ya about toasted drives. I had one fall off like that from RAID..needless to say..repair on $250 drive will cost anywhere from $3000-$8000, and because it was a raid drive it would be closer to $8000, so many of the projects were gone..lol..luckily none of mine..gotta love dvds. so that taught me a good lesson. pretty pricey one, I must say.

Solid work... my two comments are that it ends really abruptly and that I'd like to see a few less spinning logos on there. Assuming, of course, you're trying to move up. If you're trying to get more spinning logo work, then leave it in! :)

great work, question, what do you use as your graphic elements for example the bars. Are they PNG's from Photoshop ? tiffs from Flash ? or mask from AE.
