Do they use the same batteries? And the ac130/160 doesn't?

Yes, it uses the same battery design as the DVX100 and HVX200 (CGA-D54).

AC130/AC160/AF100 all use the same batteries as the HMC series. All AVCCAM cameras use the same batteries.
HPX250/HPX170/HVX200/DVX100 all share the same battery.
AVCCAM batteries are not compatible with HPX250/HPX170/HVX200/DVX100 batteries.

Thank you. That carries some weight in my new camera decision as well because I already have 6 DVX style batteries and four chargers.
