Is pairing up the Manfrotto 509HD head with the Manfrotto 535 legs a bad idea?

Anybody have any experience with this?

Is the Manfrotto 545b a better tripod to use with the 509HD?

I plan to use this configuration to support my Atlas 10 + Sony FS100 and other gear, which comes to around 22lbs.

The 509 requires 536 CF legs, if you want to go carbon fiber - the 535 only supports 75mm bawl. So, it's either 504HD+535CF, or 509HD+536CF. I have the former, and am very satisfied (super light tripod, nice smooth head - but only good for up to 7.5 kgs). If you need more payload, go with the 509HD+536CF.

The 545 legs are solid , while cheaper and heavier than the 535/536 CF. Matter of preference and budget.
