I spent a day in D.C. just getting a feel for my FS100 and put this montage together.

Adapter: Novoflex NEX-Nikon
Glass: Nikkor 50mm 1.4 & Rokinon 85mm 1.4
Sony Vegas for color correction & rendered with sony avc codec @ 15mbps.
Cheap tripod head: hdv 501

Let me know what you think. Constructive criticism please.

Some very nice shots there. I liked the daylight ones of the White House and Capital building.

I was left a little confused by the woman that talked at the beginning and end of the clip, like why was she there? I also felt confused about the time of day as it seemed to hop around quite a bit between day and early morning/evening.

Nice.

Technically: Try to get the same black levels on all clips in CC.

Aesthetics: I saw about 300 Capitol/White House tilt up shots in a row - less is more ;-)
The end is a bit sudden.

Otherwise great job.
Like the music - kind of captures the foreboding mood in the moment.

Thanks for the comment, I had no particular reason for putting her there. Thats where she just ended up.

Some nice work. I know it's quite different but it got me thinking of the following project shot in Detroit:
