Hi everyone,

I recently invested in a Cinevate Atlas 10, and I was planning on picking out a new video head to mount onto the carriage platform for panning and tilting.

Is there any advantage in going with the 504HD over the 503HDV? Does it perform noticeably smoother?
Both Video heads are rated for approximately the same amount of load capacity.

I am aware that in order to get the 504HD to work, you need to invest in a Manfrotto 325N bowl adapter. Anybody mount this 325N bowl adapter to the Manfrotto 438 Leveling Ball?

For naked FS100 (without any heavy add-ons), I'm using the 504HD on the 535K CF legs. The tripod is super-light and versatile (actually, I can handle it the way I used to with a monopod). And the 504HD head is nothing like the old 503, believe me! It's silky smooth, and controllable. Almost no spring-back. Recommended.
