Wow :cheesy: Third place is such an honour when there were so many outstanding scripts in this fest!!!

Again, thank you guys for having this fest and getting me to write something halfway serious (comedy is so much easier for me).

Congrats Richard and Christopher!

Thanks so much, everyone.

Congrats everyone! Basil I was sure you were going to get the top spot, but top 3 isn't bad.

I placed my bets on Basil's and Chris'. But the other winners were good too. Especially Desolation Road.

(actually many worked for me this time, not only the ones that came first second and third)

Fancy name for a script by the way - Desolation Road:)

Thanks, Khamanna. Your piece was excellent as well. I agree there were a LOT of great scripts. It would be nice if someone filmed them!

At least I wrote an entry this time that could actually get shot unlike all my past entries. :)

I was out shooting a sequence for a film we plan to enter in ScareFest and just read the results when i limped in tonight. It's quite an honor, especially considering the quality of the scripts in this fest. I really enjoyed reading everyone's entries - there wasn't a bad script among them and I really didn't think I had a shot to even place. Thanks for taking the time to read Desolation Road.

Congratulations to all three writers! Those are great stories - enjoyed them very much and look forward to reading more.
Although my script, Tags, did not place, I'm happy to relay it did find it's way into the hands of the Marines public affairs.
Timing was lucky as the Marines just completed a memorial in Afghanistan using dog tags.
I've gotten emails and a production inquiry. We'll see.
With that, I myself am gone. I'm deploying shortly to Afghanistan for six months. Last time before I retire. Yes!
