I'm currently shopping for a telephoto lens and wide angle lens for the DVX100A. I'm looking for two types of each lense, for use with and without the anamorphic adapter.
If one is using the anamorphic adapter... is there a choice? What's the best option?
I am asking if there's any purchase recommendations on these lenses with or without the adapter, and if with the adapter are there any special "connections" I'll need.
Thanks for the advice.

No lens adapters will work with the anamorphic.
For telephoto, the only real option is Century's 1.6x.
For wide-angle there are several options, including Century's .6 and .7, CAVision's, Panasonic's own, and the Red Eye.

Remember though, the Red Eye lens only works between the hours of 12:00am to 5:59am.

Thanks Barry... I'm assuming your recommendations ("Century's 1.6x, Century's .6 and .7, CAVision's, Panasonic's own, and the Red Eye") are for use without the anamorphic adapter. Am I really out of luck with "tele" and "wide angle" when using the anamorphic?
Also, when using the anamorphic..... do I have a choice of filters (e.g. 4x4), Matte boxes? I see the cinetactics Matteblox ads on this site, would that work with the adapter? or the Chrosziel... but I hear that may be a problem because the adapter lip sticks out to much?
or..... how about screwing on a filter 1st, then screwing on the anamorphic...
I appreciate all suggestions... I'm trying to get outfitted to start a few projects.

If you have The DVX Book, read the last chapter -- it's 34 pages all about the anamorphic adapter and answers all the questions you're asking. If you don't have it, I'll give a brief rundown:
Yes you're totally out of luck with tele and wide-angle lenses with the anamorphic, although the anamorphic is itself a .67 wide-angle adapter so that part's usually not a problem.
For filters, you can use the Matteblox anamorphic, or spend $1700 for the Chrosziel 411-53PK. You do have to shave off the hood of the adapter. There are a few other, perhaps less practical, filter suggestions in the book.
