Sadly, I dropped my akg ck93 capsule from six feet up, onto a hard floor. Even worse, I just recieved it and have no predrop test audio. It seems to work fine, but is there anything in particular I should be looking for in the audio to make sure I didn't damage the capsule? What could potentially be damaged in said capsule? (The preamp was not dropped) Thanks.

i have that capsule. it's pretty durable. the only way to test it would be to compare it to another
identical capsule. you could send it back to the dealer and have them diagnose for you. doubt
they would charge anything.
FWIW, got an email today that the $325 lav mic's I bought last fall were part of a bad bunch with
low output and they were offering to send me some new ones... I never noticed the output was low,
but the point is even if something is bad, there may be no way to know unless it's compared to
another identical product. Hope this helps.
