View Full Version : FS100 Video

Just thought I'd share a music video I shot a little while ago on my FS100.

I should mention it was super low budget, minimal crew, no scout, no color correct. We literally cleared off one of the warehouse's flatbed dollies and had a PA push me on it for the dolly stuff. This is the first non-ENG-style project I've shot on the FS100 that's come out of post so far. Sure is nice to have that amazing light sensitivity for overcranked 60fps 1/120th shutter on interiors with such a small light kit. There doesn't seem to be a separate forum for posting samples from the FS100, so hopefully this is in the right place.

I enjoyed this too. I'm not a Lady Gaga fan, but I love sharp satire and this is great.
Just goes to show that smart and funny doesn't need to be big budget. Well done!
And now I have that chorus going 'round my head...

Love it - catchy song and very well shot! Did you use the fs100 kit lens on some of this?

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it.

I don't have the kit lens because I have bad experiences with servo focus lenses, I have a Sigma 18-250 instead. I like the look and performance of Sigma glass when using stills glass. I used my Tokina 11-16//2.8, Sigma 24-70/2.8, and Sigma 70-200/2.8 on this video. Everything was shot wide open, partly because my lenses are all still Canon mount so I just have a dumb adapter with no aperture control at the moment. The Birger mount better come out soon, or I might end up just trading in all my glass for A-mount versions and getting the LA-EA2 when it comes out...
