Hi all. Has anybody used any HDMI to HD-SDI converters with the FS100, such as the offerings from Blackmagic, AJA, Data Video, Ikan, TV One, etc? Here's a listing of converters at B&H. Thanks

yeah, I have both the BMD and Aja HDMI to HD-SDI converters. They both work, altho' there are minor differences. For my money, I prefer the Aja converter because a 5v supply is easier for me to work with than 12v.

Thanks Cuervo. Any recommendations on the power supply (battery, ac adapter, etc?) for the Aja HDMI - HD-SDI

Thanks Cuervo. Any recommendations on the power supply (battery, ac adapter, etc?) for the Aja HDMI - HD-SDII run everything off of AB Dionic batteries. There's some D tap adapters that output 5 v. Another option is to do a google search on 5v adapters. There's a few hits you'll get.

I've also read that the Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle can act as a passthrough from HDMI to HD-SDI, instead of using a dedicated converter. Frank, not sure if you could verify that on your device.

Frank, I saw your comments around here that the hyperdeck shuttle does act as a passthrough hdmi to hd-sdi converter. Thanks.
